THE NUTRITION PYRAMID

Nutrition can seem daunting and complex, but we are going to keep it simple.

Social Media and most of the fitness industry have sold you myths and false beliefs. There is the odd exception but it can be hard to see through all the crap and know what is the truth.

Why have I been sold lies?

Because we can't be sold anything expensive off the back of the simplicity we are about to educate you on.

So without further ado, lets get started.

The nutrition pyramid cover the 5 factors that will get you the results you want.

All steps of the pyramid will contribute towards reaching your goals but the base of the pyramid is of the most significance and importance and as we move up the pyramid the factors become less important and significant.

And we MUST start from the base and MUST first have the component below in place before moving up the pyramid.

Calorie balance, macronutrient intake and appropriate quantity/variety of fruit and vegetable consumption is going to get you 90% of your results.

If you're after a shortcut when it comes to nutrition and achieving your goals then we have some bad news...

1. We can’t eat just ‘clean foods’ and ignore calories.

2. We can’t supplement our way out of a bad diet.

3. There aren't "special meal timing tricks" to enable. us to binge eat in the evenings.

4. Putting fat in our coffee in the mornings and expecting it to help us magically burn more fat (somehow) doesn't work.

5. Juice cleansing and meal replacement shakes are NOT sustainable and 99% of users put back on more weight than what they started at when they reintroduce real foods.

However, what this does mean is something exceptionally freeing: there is a vast scope for personal preference when it comes to nutrition, and it does not have to be expensive.
